WISE WOLVES BASKETBALL

 

The Wise Wolves Afterschool Basketball Program at P.S. 132Q – The Ralph Bunche School provides students with an exciting opportunity to develop basketball skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a positive and supportive environment.

 

The program schedule is as follows:

  • Boys Basketball: Monday's and Tuesday's from 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM
  • Girls Basketball: Wednesday's from 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM

 

The Wise Wolves program focuses on skill development, physical fitness, discipline, and collaboration while encouraging students to build confidence and school pride.

 

The afterschool basketball program runs through May 13, 2026. Families are reminded that on-time pick-up is required at the conclusion of each session.

WISE WOLVES ACADEMY

 

Wise Wolves Academy at P.S. 132Q – The Ralph Bunche School is an enrichment program designed to support students as they prepare for the New York State (NYS) exams. The program provides targeted instruction, extra help, and focused practice to help students strengthen their skills and build confidence.

 

The goal of Wise Wolves Academy is to enhance academic proficiency, reinforce classroom learning, and ensure students are fully prepared and ready to succeed on their exams. This program offers a supportive and engaging environment where students can receive personalized attention and practice strategies for academic success.

 

The program runs on Saturdays, from January 10 to May 2, 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Families are encouraged to ensure students attend consistently to maximize their learning and exam readiness.

WISE WOLVES CHAMPS

 

The CHAMPS Program provides students with exciting opportunities to stay active, build teamwork skills, and develop healthy habits through structured after-school sports and fitness activities. CHAMPS promotes physical wellness, sportsmanship, and confidence in a safe, supportive environment led by trained coaches.

 

Through CHAMPS, students learn the value of teamwork, perseverance, and positive competition while having fun and staying engaged after the school day. We are proud to offer this program as part of our commitment to supporting the whole child—academically, socially, and physically.

 

The program begins December 3, 2025 and runs afterschool from 2:20 PM to 4:00 PM on Wednesdays and Fridays.

DISNEY MUSCIALS IN SCHOOLS

 

PS 132Q is proud to have been chosen to participate in Disney Musicals in Schools, a special program that brings the magic of musical theater to our students. Through this exciting experience, students explore singing, acting, and dancing while building confidence, creativity, and teamwork.

 

Guided by teaching artists and educators, students develop collaboration, self-expression, and performance skills as they bring a beloved Disney story to life. As a culminating experience, our students will present a performance of The Lion King at the end of May. We look forward to celebrating their hard work and talent with our school community!

 

The afterschool program begins January 8, 2026 through May 29, 2026.  The program will take place Thursdays and Fridays afterschool from 2:20 PM to 4:00 PM.
